2026 Ministry Launch Manual

The Ruby Standard

Moving from Membership to Kingdom Partnership

A ministry launch framework that redefines value — from the perfection of diamonds to the authenticity of rubies. Built on real assessment data, biblical theology, and a training protocol for 2026.

The Metaphor

The Valuation of the Soul

In the gem world, there are two ways to value a stone. One represents religion (The Diamond); the other represents the Kingdom (The Ruby).

The Diamond Standard (The Church Member)

The Goal: Perfection and Uniformity.

The Tool: The 10x Loupe. This is a small magnifying glass jewelers use to inspect gems. When testing a diamond, they are looking for flaws.

The "Loupe Test": If the jeweler looks through the loupe and sees a mark inside, the diamond is "flawed." It loses value.

The Spiritual Trap: Religion tells us we must pass the "Loupe Test." We try to look perfect, hide our struggles, and act "flawless" in front of other members. It creates a culture of safety but low impact.

The Ruby Standard (The Kingdom Partner)

The Goal: Rarity and Authenticity.

The Tool: The Microscope. When an expert looks at a high-value Ruby, they aren't looking for emptiness; they are looking for evidence.

The "Silk": Rubies have internal textures called "silk" (rutile needles).

Authenticity: If a ruby is perfectly clean, it is likely a fake (glass). The "silk" proves it is real.

The Beauty: The silk scatters the light, giving the ruby a velvety glow that a diamond cannot produce.

The Spiritual Truth: God is not looking for the emptiness of a diamond; He is looking for the evidence of a Ruby. Your past, your scars, and your struggles are your "Silk." They prove you are authentic. They prove you survived the pressure.

The Reality Check

Our 2026 Temperature Check

We applied a "Valuation" to our ministry using the Leadership Self-Assessment data. The numbers tell us exactly who we are.

4.07

Relational Health

4.67

Trustworthy

3.07

Competency

2.27

Articulate Gospel

93%

Willing to Train

65%

Want Deep Bible Study

We Are "Good Rough" (The Foundation)

If we were a mine, we would be sitting on a goldmine of raw potential.

We Love Well: Our highest score was in Relational Health (4.07 out of 5).

We Are Trustworthy: You rated yourselves nearly perfect on being "Trustworthy" (4.67) and "Celebrating Successes" (4.67).

The Verdict: We have the "Silk." We are real, authentic, and safe. We are a family.

We Are "Uncut" (The Gap)

However, a ruby that isn't cut looks like a common driveway rock. It has value inside, but no shine outside.

We Lack Skill: Our lowest area was Competency (3.07 out of 5).

The Crisis: The single lowest score in the entire assessment was "Articulate Gospel" (2.27).

The Verdict: We have high character (fire inside), but low competency (no shine outside). We struggle to explain Jesus to the world.

The Hope (The Hunger)

93.33% of you said "YES" when asked if you were willing to commit to training.

65.2% of members specifically asked for "Deepening Bible Study" as their top need.

The Bible Study

The Theology

The Living Stone and the Engine of the early church show us how to move from membership to partnership.

1 Peter 2:4-5

"As you come to him, a living stone — rejected by humans but chosen by God... you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house."

Rejected by Humans: The world sees "Rough Stones" (people with issues/silk). Chosen by God: God sees the Ruby inside the rock. A pile of stones is just a crowd (Membership). A built house requires stones to be shaped and fitted together (Partnership).

Read in Bible

Acts 2:42-47

"They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer... And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved."

The Engine of the early church: Equip (Input), Train (Process), Send (Output).

Read in Bible

EQUIP (Input)

"They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching..."

We are using Experiencing God to equip you with the ability to hear God's voice.

TRAIN (Process)

"All the believers were together..."

We are using Tables of 4-6 to leverage our relational strength. Rubies are formed under pressure.

SEND (Output)

"And the Lord added to their number daily..."

We are moving to Multiplication. A "Member" brings a friend. A "Partner" becomes the church in their workplace.

The Training Protocol

Implementing Experiencing God

We are not just reading a book; we are entering Basic Training. Here is the protocol for 2026.

The Tool

We selected Experiencing God because it directly addresses our lowest score: Articulating the Gospel.

The Shift: It moves you from "selling Jesus" (a sales pitch) to "watching for God" (awareness). When you experience Him daily, sharing Him becomes natural.

The Discipline (The 5-Day Drill)

The Requirement: This is a workbook. You must commit to 20 minutes a day, 5 days a week.

The Method: Do not just read it. Write in it. Wrestle with the "7 Realities."

The Goal: You are looking for the "Word for the Day" — the specific instruction God has for you.

The Squads (Tables of 4-6)

Structure: We are breaking into small units (Tables of 4-6).

Communication: You will communicate with your table throughout the week (text/call).

The Meeting: When we gather, we don't do small talk. We debrief the mission. "What did God say to you on Tuesday?"

Action Items

  • 1Commit to 20 minutes a day, 5 days a week with the workbook
  • 2Write in the workbook — wrestle with the 7 Realities
  • 3Join your Table of 4-6 and stay connected throughout the week
  • 4Debrief at gatherings: "What did God say to you on Tuesday?"

The Charge

In 2026, we stop fearing the Loupe Test. We stop trying to be "Flawless Diamonds." We accept our "Silk." We accept the cutting wheel of training. We are becoming Rubies — rare, authentic, and dangerous to the darkness.
